A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is submitted to the outside provider that operates the results service. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you send us a message, we receive the information you include and use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems may log an IP address, browser type, page requests, and timestamps. We use these records in aggregate to maintain the service and understand general page use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic measurement and, where used, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
The limited data supports site operation, security, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and improvements. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual user profiles.
External Links and Search Tools
Links lead to county and state portals, library collections, archives, and outside search services. Their terms and privacy practices govern information supplied on their pages, including information entered through sponsored search results.
Service Providers
Hosting and support providers may process the technical logs described above. Analytics or advertising providers may receive comparable automatic data. We disclose information only when valid legal process requires disclosure or as otherwise required by law.
Safeguards and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are kept only for the operational purposes described here. Since there are no visitor accounts, the directory does not hold a user password or account profile to protect.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor sent us information so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
Minnesota’s Consumer Data Privacy Act, Minn. Stat. §§325M.10-.21, provides certain consumer rights subject to its statutory scope and exemptions. Because this directory keeps little visitor information, a request to access, correct, or delete data usually concerns a contact message or technical logs. Send a request through the Contact page. Public records held by Golden Valley, Hennepin County, or Minnesota custodians are outside our control; requests about those records must go to the relevant custodian.
